Adirondack Woodcraft Camps opened in 1925 with the goal of introducing campers to the beauty of the Adirondack wilderness. Since its founding, Woodcraft has grown and evolved, but always held firm to the principles of providing campers with an enjoyable place to learn about the outdoors -- and themselves.

Thank you to the best camp doctor out there, Dr. Dan! A Woodcraft Alumnus, Dr. Dan has volunteered his time at Adirondack Woodcraft Camps for two summers in a row now and we are so grateful for his care, patience, support, dry sense of humor, and go with the flow vibe. Congratulations to our 2026 Chief's Knife honoree, Veronika Kocika! Veronika is pictured with Camp Directors, Christina & Doug and former Chief's Knife recipients Jens, Braden, Ellie, Sam, Ada & Grace. During Candlelight, they passed this year's Chief's Knife to Veronika with one word of wisdom each: integrity, persistence, resilience, selflessness, perseverance, and courage. John Leach spoke of Woodcraft's important history and favorite memories were shared as spruce boughs were placed on the fire and sent sparks to join the stars in the Adirondack night sky ✨💚✨ What a beautiful evening it was. We'd like to thank our incredible staff team and our amazing 2026 Woodcrafters for making this summer so special!

Picking back up on staff intros! It's amazing having our awesome staff here. Welcome back, Avery! 💚💛 "I play soccer and I hike in my free time, I love to swim and read! One of my favorite activities at camp is the day trips, because you can choose what you want to do on that day! My favorite camp memory was when it was pouring rain outside and all the campers came together in the dining hall to play a bunch of games, and it was so much fun! This summer I am so excited make new friends and to help kids have the best summer ever! Some fun facts are I love to listen to music, I am a huge Formula 1 fan and I collect hot wheels.
