Save All Stray Cats

Save All Stray Cats http://www.saveallstraycatsinc.org The Cause: THE CAT WALK PROJECT

If we are going to talk the talk we need to walk the walk! Thank you.

The Cat Walk Project was started in 2008. We are currently working with a colony of cats that need help. To date we have funded over 60 stray cats to be Spayed/Neutered. To date we have helped over 100 cats with the very much needed basics. We have found/provided shelter and have funded medical care and food for all. We need Donations to achieve our mission to have no stray cat go with out food/wa

ter, medical care and shelter. We work on one project at a time in hopes to provide a better future. We hope our dedication and passion for this cause will keep us strong and progress to a future of saving the lives of the almost forgotten, abandoned and weak... the stray cats that need help. Please help our cause... to help all of them.

Utah has passed a major new law aimed at giving more shelter dogs and cats a chance at survival. Governor Spencer Cox signed Senate Bill 201, which now requires public animal shelters across the state to make reasonable efforts to save a dog or cat before euthanasia can even be considered. That means shelters must first look at adoption, foster care, or transfers to rescue groups whenever those options are realistically available.

The law does not end euthanasia entirely. Animals suffering from severe illness, serious injuries, or dangerous behavioral problems can still be humanely euthanized when there is no reasonable alternative. But for healthy and treatable pets, the goal is to give them every possible chance first. Utah is already close to becoming a national leader in this area, with 57 of its 59 shelters considered no-ki*ll and nearly 90 percent of animals entering shelters leaving alive in 2025. Even so, around 1,200 cats were still unnecessarily euthanized that year, a number supporters hope this law will help bring down.

More than 20 animal welfare organizations backed the bill, including Best Friends Animal Society, which has spent years working to reduce unnecessary shelter de*ths nationwide. Advocates say the law recognizes something simple: a healthy, treatable pet deserves a real chance at finding a home rather than losing its life because time or space ran out. Many hope Utah's move will encourage other states to strengthen their own shelter policies.

They don't understand what they did wrong. They only know you never came back.
For a cat, you're not just the person who fills the food bowl.

You're their home.
You're their safety.

You're the face they trust more than anyone else.
When a cat is abandoned, it doesn't understand the reasons. It doesn't know about moving to a new house, financial struggles, or changing circumstances.
It only knows that the person it loved is suddenly gone.
Many abandoned cats stay in the exact place where they were left. They wait for hours... then days... sometimes even longer, hoping the familiar car will return and the person they trusted will call their name again.
Some stop eating.
Some become frightened of everyone.
Some never get the chance to find another family.
The heartbreaking part is that they never chose to leave.

They were simply left behind.

If life changes and you can no longer care for your cat, please choose kindness. Reach out to family, trusted friends, a rescue organization, or a responsible adopter. Giving your cat a safe new home is always a better choice than leaving them to survive alone.
Every cat deserves love.
Every cat deserves a chance.
And every cat deserves a goodbye that doesn't end on the side of the road.
Because no matter what happens...
They would never abandon you. They deserve the same loyalty in return. ❤️🐾
