Old Bridge Boy Scout Troop 129

Old Bridge Boy Scout Troop 129 Troop 129 serves the Old Bridge, NJ area. Registration is always open for youth between 6th grade and high school ages.

We meet weekly on Tuesday's at 7pm, run monthly camping trips, and focus on teaching youth scouting and life skills.

It's been a busy few weeks getting back to troop activities with elections, gear checking, skills, and trip to Roosevelt Scout Reservation. A few pictures of wilderness survival shelters built and slept in by our guys and other meeting activities!

The guys had a lot of fun white water rafting over the weekend to round out the year. We are looking forward to summer camp and getting back to meetings in the fall!

We had a lot of fun on a challenging backpacking hike ar Harriman state park thia weekend. 5 miles and about 1000 feet elevation gain....in the rain, uphill both ways 😀 The guys did a great job and rose to the challenge!
