Yesterday, we met reporter Alexander Lewis, from MyCentralJersey.com. Alexander photographed the Old Bridge High School Class of 2026 graduation.
He shared that he still had two more graduations to shoot, and he does the entire ceremony each time.

Yes, we do insist! Thanks for coming up to the podium to talk about goals with the students too. So much to look forward to for the upcoming school year! But first, Summer. ☀️

Ok, I don’t like being on this side of the camera or story, but I promised the Board I would share it. The Board of Education was kind enough to thank me for my work with The Bridge at tonight’s BOE meeting. I truly appreciate the kind words.

I started The Bridge as a way to share, via social media, many of the good things going on in our district. It started five years ago, back when most of the good stuff was found only at BOE meetings and if local newspapers wrote about it. I thought we needed a better vehicle to get this good stuff out. The Bridge was born and I have absolutely loved running it ever since. Now, whenever I show up at an event, people see me as The Bridge. It’s great. Thank you to all of the teachers, coaches, PTA members, and administrators who have shared photos and stories with me to share on The Bridge - especially this BOE, whose members attend so many things. So much great stuff happens in our district. Keep it coming!

Next year, The Bridge will be inviting middle and high school student submissions as well. With any luck we’ll have more good news to share than ever before. Thank you Old Bridge!
