🏆🎄 CHAMPIONS! 🎄🏆

Congratulations to the Cheesequake Grasshopper Cadets 13U on winning the Christmas in August Tournament! The team went undefeated throughout the tournament and finished on top! ⚾️💪

The annual Christmas in August Tournament is about much more than baseball. It brings teams and families together in the true spirit of giving. ❤️

Families are encouraged to donate unwrapped toys, while players can participate in the Home Run Derby for a nominal fee. The toys and proceeds raised are donated during the holiday season to a local children’s hospital and homeless shelter, helping bring some joy to children and families in need. 🎁❤️

The Cadets would like to thank the Cheesequake Cadets administration, our amazing volunteers, players, families, coaches, and every team who helped make this special event possible.

Your generosity, dedication, and commitment to giving back are what make this tournament so meaningful.

Due to an overwhelming number of people reaching out at this age group, we are starting a second 12u/Rising 13u team for this Fall!

We would like to wish a happy birthday to Cheesequake Cadets Travel Baseball coach Danny Pesce!

Coach Pesce, a Staten Island native, played high school baseball at Tottenville high school. He followed that up by pitching for D1 Long Island university, in college.

He’s been coaching with the Cadets since they made the move to New Jersey several years ago. Currently, Coach Danny coaches with the 13 U team, as well as lending a hand and his vast experience, to several other teams as well.

You can wish Coach Danny a happy birthday in person at the Cheesequake Baseball League Baseball camp starting this Monday morning, August 10.

Due to some torrential rain we had earlier in the area, 8U and 9U workouts/Try-outs are canceled for this evening, Tuesday. They will continue tomorrow night, Wednesday, at 6:30 PM.
