🍬🎃 WHAT A BOO-NANZA! 🎃🍬

The Olcott Lions Club had a fantastic time at Boo-nanza at Olcott Beach today! We loved seeing so many kids, families, costumes—and plenty of familiar faces—stop by our Lions booth for some Halloween candy.

From superheroes and princesses to ghosts, goblins and everything in between, everyone who dropped by got a sweet treat from the Lions! 🍫🍭

Events like Boo-nanza are what make our Newfane and Olcott Beach, NY Tourism community special. It’s not just about handing out candy—it’s about neighbors coming together, families making memories, and the Olcott Lions being right there in the middle of the fun.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who stopped to say hello, shared a smile, showed off a costume, or grabbed some candy. And thanks to everyone who helped make Boo-nanza another great day in Olcott!

🦁 Where there’s community, you’ll find the Olcott Lions. Also at WNY Lions

A wonderful evening of friendship, service, and international fellowship at the Olcott Yacht Club!

The Olcott Lions Club was proud to welcome our sister club, the Port Dalhousie Lions Club of Ontario, Canada, for our annual sister-club visitation and dinner. Each year, our clubs take turns crossing the border to continue this special Lions tradition. This year, our Canadian friends visited Olcott—and next year, we’ll have the honor of visiting them in Port Dalhousie.

A highlight of the evening was an outstanding presentation from a representative of Lions Guiding Eyes for the Blind, sharing the incredible impact Lions help make through this important service dog training work.

The evening also included our traditional exchange of gifts between the Canadian and American club presidents. Our Olcott Lions sent each Port Dalhousie visitor home with some local Niagara favorites: a bag of iconic popcorn from Bye's Popcorn Stand and a bottle of Niagara red w**e from Chateau Niagara Winery.

Our Canadian friends returned the hospitality in true Canadian fashion—with some of Canada’s finest maple syrup!

Two clubs. Two countries. One Lions family united by friendship and service. 🇺🇸🇨🇦🦁

We Serve—on both sides of the border!

🇺🇸 Remembering September 11th — Together as a Community 🇺🇸

The Olcott Lions Club was honored to join the Tonawanda Erie Gateway Lions Club in assembling flags at Gratwick Fire Hall in preparation for the September 11th remembrance ceremony at Gratwick Park.

On Friday, September 11th, the community will gather to honor and remember the lives lost on 9/11, the heroes who answered the call, and everyone whose life was forever changed by that day.

It was a privilege for our Lions Clubs to come together in service to the community and help prepare for this meaningful ceremony. 🇺🇸

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.
