This isn't just a tournament. Every swing supports veterans and military families through education scholarships, PTS treatment, entrepreneurship programs, and essential services, honoring the memory of Army SPC Spencer C. Duncan.

It’s been 15 years since that fateful day that took away 31 American heroes.

There is still grief. There is still sorrow. There are still days that it doesn’t seem real.

And…

There is still love. There is still honor in their sacrifice. There is still work to be done in their name.

Tomorrow we press on with our mission of supporting veterans with book scholarships, entrepreneurship programs, experiential seminars, and meeting of physical needs for homeless veterans.

But for today…

Today we will pause and remember them. Each of them. We will say their names and we will shed tears within the arms of a loved one.

Memorial Day.

A quiet ache carried by families who set one less plate at the table.

A folded flag resting in trembling hands.

The sound of freedom, paid for by sons and daughters who never came home.

And perhaps the deepest tragedy and greatest triumph of all… is that the finest and bravest among us gave their tomorrows so the rest of us could keep living ours.

May we never grow too distracted, too comfortable, or too hurried to pause and honor that debt.

May. We. Never. Forget. 🇺🇸

End of an era.💙

Not marked by the last step across a finish line, but by all that was carried along the way.

Years of our 5k mornings.

Of strangers becoming something more.

Of quiet acts of giving that asked for nothing in return.

You came - for Spencer.

For our veterans.

For a purpose that could be felt, even when it could not be named.

And in doing so, something beautifully lasting was formed.

The run now comes to its rest. As all things, in time, must.

But what was built, in hearts, in lives, in the unseen ways we change one another…

…does not end here.

It continues. As it always has. ♾️
