Oklahoma Special Library Services, the library friends group,
invites you to our Annual Meeting on May 21st at noon. The
location is 4135 NW 10th St., OKC West Side Lions Town Hall.
Lunch will be provided. Trey Lewis and Jerri Cooper will each
tell us about their new books. There will be door prizes,
election of new Board members, and fun. Paid membership is
needed to vote in the election. Membership dues are $10 for
patrons of the library and $15 for non patrons. To RSVP, message us here on our OSLS page. We look forward to seeing all our friends of the OLBPH.

Dear OSLS Members and Friends:

We very much appreciate your support of the programs and services of the Oklahoma Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped. Through your generosity, the Oklahomans for Special Library Services (OSLS) funds projects not covered in the state budget.

Some of the activities funded by OSLS in 2025 included:

Funding an Adult Seasonal Reading program;
Purchasing recording studio software and equipment;
Funding the library’s Summer Reading Program;
Purchasing materials needed by the library’s Accessible Instructional Services for students;
And much more.

It is time to renew your OSLS annual membership, which runs from January 1-December 31 of each year. Listed below are the types of memberships.

Oklahomans for Special Library Services (OSLS) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that advocates for and supports the Oklahoma Library for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (OLBPH) by providing free accessible books (audio, braille) and equipment to Oklahomans with print disabilities, enriching lives through reading access for all ages. They fund studio upgrades and volunteers, helping the OLBPH offer talking books, digital players, and accessible instructional materials through the National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS).
