Urban Bridge is honored to be selected as a 2026 Nextep Gives Back Grant Recipient, receiving a $20,000 investment to support our continued work with young people in Northeast Oklahoma City.

We’re grateful to Nextep for believing in the work, the mission, and most importantly, the young people we have the privilege of serving.

Thank you for helping us continue creating spaces where young people can discover opportunity, build confidence, develop their gifts, and keep moving toward the future they deserve.

HOPE HAS A HOME AT MILLWOOD. 💙

Les Thomas Sr. is in his 19th year of serving Millwood students—and this year, Hope Culture Leadership has a room of its own.

About 70 students gather with us each week across two lunch groups. Now we’re inviting you to help turn their space into a welcoming place for mentorship, connection, and leadership.

Our $2,500 goal will help provide fresh paint, inspiring murals, three round tables with chairs, extra seating, a sound system, and organized supplies.

Help students walk in knowing: “I belong here. My voice matters. My future has purpose.”

BRIDGE BUILDER SPOTLIGHT: BRITTANY COUCH

Since The Bridge Impact Center opened its doors, Brittany Couch has been part of its foundation and remains one of our longest-tenured Bridge Builders. Each week, she leads Spark Pop Up, a nature-based mindfulness group under our Natruwell umbrella that helps young people connect with nature, strengthen self-awareness, and care for their emotional well-being. Her work brings our Empowerment and Exposure pillars to life by helping students care for themselves while introducing them to new experiences and healthier ways of engaging with the world. Her educational journey—from Classen School of Advanced Studies to studying Psychology at Spelman College and Experimental Psychology at the University of Central Oklahoma—brings added knowledge and purpose to her work. We’re grateful for everything Brittany continues to pour into our students and community.
