🧦✨ Foster Highlight: Dobby ✨🧦

Dobby has a confession to make…

He is NOT a free elf.

Not yet.

You see, Dobby is still waiting for someone to give him the most important sock of all: a forever home. ❤️

At just 8 months old and under 30 pounds, Dobby is a fun-sized companion with a big personality. He’s a little sassy, incredibly smart, and very food motivated—which means he’s already making great progress learning his basic commands.

Dobby enjoys playing with crinkly stuffies and is perfectly happy entertaining himself while his humans are busy. Once he’s burned off his puppy energy, though, his favorite activity is becoming a professional cuddle bug. In fact, the only time he’s really vocal is when he’s requesting extra snuggle time.

This athletic little wizard can jump like he’s training for the Dog Olympics and loves finding the highest perch available to survey his kingdom. If there’s a couch, chair, or elevated spot nearby, chances are Dobby has already claimed it.

✨ Dobby’s Magical Traits ✨

🧦 House trained

🧦 Good with dogs of all sizes

🧦 Expert car rider

🧦 Learning commands quickly

🧦 Loves crinkly toys

🧦 Olympic-level hops

🧦 Expert cuddler

🧦 Under 30 pounds of pure charm

Dobby is searching for a family that will love his goofy personality, appreciate his cuddly side, and finally grant him the freedom every house elf dreams of.

Could you be the one to give Dobby his sock?

Apply to adopt and help this sweet boy become a free elf at last. 🖤

🐾 This weekend we are celebrating two very special adoptions! 🐾

Jet and Bob were both saved from euthanasia at a local shelter and given a second chance at life.

Jet arrived covered in ticks, scared, and in need of lots of love and care. With time, patience, and TLC, he blossomed into the wonderful dog he was always meant to be.

Bob’s journey was equally heartbreaking. After being tagged for rescue, we discovered he had a massive wound on his shoulder that was deep and infected. He was severely matted and covered in fleas. Despite everything he had endured, Bob never lost his loving spirit. After weeks of treatment and healing, he was finally ready to find his family.

This weekend, both of these incredible boys got their happily ever after. Their new families traveled all the way from Arkansas to Oklahoma to bring them home.

Stories like these remind us why we do what we do. Seeing animals overcome so much hardship and find the loving homes they deserve fills our hearts with joy.

Congratulations, Jet and Bob! ❤️ We couldn’t be happier for you both.

You’re finally home. 🏡🐾❤️

Take a look at this 👀

One of our incredible fosters and biggest supporters got herself one of our advocacy T-shirts! She was actually the very first person to place an order, and we have to say—she looks amazing in it!

Not only do these shirts help spread awareness and encourage people to speak out against animal abuse, but every purchase helps us save more lives and continue our mission. The proceeds go directly back into the rescue to provide food, medical care, spay/neuters, and everything our animals need while they wait for their forever homes.

Speak up against animal abuse. Be their voice. Wear the message. Save lives. 🐾❤️

Due to the overwhelming number of animals we’ve taken in recently and the significant medical expenses we currently have—and those we know are still to come—we have made the difficult decision to place our rescue on an intake hold.

This is never a decision we make lightly. Every day we receive messages about animals in need, and having to say no is heartbreaking. However, we must ensure that we have the financial resources, foster homes, and supplies necessary to provide proper care for the animals already relying on us.

At this time, we are unable to accept any additional cats, kittens, dogs, or puppies into our program.

We are hopeful that upcoming adoptions this weekend will help open space and resources, allowing us to lift this hold as quickly as possible. The best way to help right now is to adopt, foster, donate, or share our adoptable animals.

Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we work to provide the best possible care for every animal entrusted to us. ❤️

🚨 URGENT: We Need Volunteers for Our Free Microchip Event! 🚨

We are less than two weeks away from our FREE microchip event. We have the supplies. We have the heart. We have the commitment to helping pets and the people who love them.

What we don’t have is enough volunteers.

With the 4th of July approaching, more pets go missing than any other time of year. A microchip can be the difference between a pet spending days, weeks, or even months in a shelter and finding their way back home.

We urgently need:
🐾 Vet techs or experienced animal handlers to assist with microchipping
🐾 Volunteers to safely hold pets during the process
🐾 Volunteers to help with paperwork and check-in

This event has the potential to help so many pets stay connected to their families, but we can’t do it without your help.

Even a few hours of your time can make a huge difference.

If you’re willing to volunteer, please comment below or send us a message as soon as possible. Help us keep pets safe, keep families together, and make this event a success for our community. ❤️🐶🐱

🚨 Help Us Keep Up With Our Growth! 🚨

As our rescue continues to grow, so does the number of animals depending on us. More intakes means more transports, more kennels, more supplies, and more equipment to move from place to place.

We’re hoping to find a small enclosed trailer that can help us safely store and transport extra kennels, adoption event supplies, and everything else that comes with saving lives. It would also make transporting our furry passengers much easier and more comfortable.

It doesn’t need to be fancy. If it needs a little TLC, that’s okay! We’re simply looking for something functional that can help us continue saying “yes” to animals in need.

If you have an enclosed trailer you’d be willing to donate, or know someone who might, please reach out to us. Right now, every dollar we have is going directly toward the growing number of animals in our care, making purchasing one ourselves difficult.

Thank you for helping us build the resources we need to save more lives. ❤️🐾

28 animals. Seven days.

Honestly, we don’t even know what to say.

This week alone, we have taken in 28 animals. Today alone, we took in 11.

Not healthy, easy animals. Neonates. Orphans. Three parvo puppies. Six panleuk kittens. The ones that need quarantine. The ones that need medications. The ones that need bottle feeding. The ones that keep you awake at night wondering if they’ll make it until morning.

And we said yes.

Because how do you say no to a puppy with parvo? How do you say no to a litter of sick kittens? How do you say no when there isn’t another option?

The problem is that every “yes” comes with a bill.

Today alone, we spent $445 at VEG for the parvo puppies. We still have food to buy, medications to fill, vaccines to give, and spay/neuter surgeries to schedule. Twenty-eight animals means twenty-eight lives depending on us to figure it out.

Tonight, these babies are safe. They’re in foster homes. They’re getting the care they need.

But rescue doesn’t run on good intentions. It runs on donations, fosters, adopters, and people willing to share our posts.

We’re asking for help because we need it.

Not next month. Not next week.

Now.

If everyone who follows our page donated even a few dollars, it would make an enormous difference. If you can’t donate, please share. If you’ve been thinking about fostering or adopting, now is the time.

We took the leap and said yes to 28 animals.

Now we’re asking our village to help us catch them. ❤️🐾
