The Lake District Coalition is the cornerstone of community action and community service in the Lake Hefner area. From Crime Prevention education to the Sustainability and Recycling programs, we work in conjunction with City Police, City Fire, OKC City officials and various community leaders (Margaret Annis Boys Trust and OKC Community Foundation) to affect positive change in the area. The Lake

District Coalition was created to address and cooperatively resolve issues , unique to the Lake Hefner surround areas. Our work seeks to improve the quality of life and the sense of community for the residents in this area. We work to educate on methods to fight crime, by addressing and improving walkability / beautification / quality of life projects. We are already making great strides in these area and continue to work to improve neighborhoods and communities through communication, education and action.
