It was great to see the community come together to work together to stop gun violence in our city. Gratitude to TASK and Pastor Manning for hosting this important event. Addressing gun violence will take all of us, and this was a great step in the right direction.

There has been too much violence involving teens in our city recently. Next Wednesday, June 17 at 6:00 pm at the Bryant Event Center we will be hosting a Community Townhall on Teen Violence. Panelists will include some of our youth and Peace City PeaceMakers, and they will be discussing the problem and solutions. We’re asking the community to pull up and have this important community conversation with us. This is a community problem, and it’s going to take all of us to address it. Please come and participate.
