Last year, like any other, we gathered to celebrate the people, organizations, and leaders protecting Oklahoma's environment and natural beauty.

Michele Loudenback from the City of Norman received our Towering Spirit Award, and we honored countless environmental champions from — businesses to community volunteers — across our board and community awards.

This year, we're doing it again! October 29, 2026. New categories. Same mission: recognizing the work that matters.

Meet Nick Berry! At 13, he designed a beautiful pollinator garden for Route 66 outside Fire Station 66 full of native Oklahoma plants. He spent months researching, planning, and bringing this vision to life. 🌻

We're proud to have supported Nick's work through our Keep Route 66 Beautiful grant program. Projects like his show what's possible when we invest in young people and our communities.

As this funding cycle comes to an end, we want to be honest: we're sad to see it go. But we're not stopping. We're committed to finding new ways to expand our garden programs and help more young people like Nick make a real difference.

This story isn't ending it's evolving and we hope you'll be part of what comes next!
