Get to know Aztrid Moan of "Marks and Musings!"

Aztrid Moan is an interdisciplinary artist who lives and works in
Oklahoma City, with 5 years of experience exhibiting art, both locally and regionally.

Moan creates multi-media works that weave together narratives reflecting pressing global issues such as climate change, philosophical questions, and the shared challenges of our time. Her art often takes on a three-dimensional form, layering depth and texture to enhance the storytelling. Through screen printing, relief printmaking, acrylic, and clay, Moan experiments with the intersections of material and meaning, inviting viewers into a dialogue that is both visually striking and thought-provoking.

You can find more of her work in Gallery II of the PACC, now through June 26!

Your Gift, Double The Impact!

A word from Paseo Arts Association Board President, Candler Barnett:

Dear Friends of the Paseo Arts Association:

The 2026 Paseo Arts Festival is now behind us! While we are still tallying the numbers for visitor counts, merchandise and drink sales, all early indications point to yet another successful year. The Festival is always the PAA’s biggest event and provides vital funding for our year-round work.

Building on that momentum, I am thrilled to share an additional opportunity to maximize your support. Thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, every dollar you contribute to the PAA this month will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to a total of $5,000.

This means your gift will have double the impact!

From now until June 30, a donation of $25 instantly becomes $50. A gift of $100 becomes $200. Our collective goal is to reach the full $5,000 match, unlocking a total of $10,000 to directly fund our vibrant arts programming, community events and local artist resources.

Your belief in our mission is what keeps the heart of the Paseo Arts Association beating. Please consider making your tax-deductible gift today by scanning the QR code on the attached form or visiting our donation page: https://buff.ly/IKU3Krl

Thanks for your continued support!

Truly,

Candler Barnett
President

Get to know the artists of Poetic City's sixth annual exhibit, Breaking Bread! First off, we have Betty Refour!

Artist Betty Refour considers herself an accidental artist. Her sister Rose who has autism began drawing on her homework when they were children. After having to redo her homework multiple times she decided to join her. Betty was fascinated by color and how different color combinations could be visually appealing. She eventually started to draw fashion images from magazines and obtained an Associate’s Degree in Fashion Design.

Years later while recovering from a back injury, she started painting as a form of therapy. Her work is eclectic, colorful, and bold, often telling stories about her life and experiences. She has been a part of numerous group shows in Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico. She has done solo shows and has been gallery represented. She currently shares a studio with Rose. And their work can be found in private collections around the world.

You can see more of Betty's work and the rest of the work from Breaking Bread in Gallery I of the PACC! On display through June 26!
