Our sincere condolences go out to the family of Ben Nighthorse Campbell.

The Senator was truly a Native Renaissance Man, an Olympian, skilled artisan statesman, motorcycle enthusiast, and champion for all Native Americans.

We will make sure his legacy lives on as a member of the National Native American Hall of Fame.

We at the National Native American Hall of Fame are devastated by the news of the passing of our good friend, Spike Bighorn.

Spike escorted his father-in-law, inductee Dwight W. Birdwell, at our most recent Induction Ceremony on November 1st.

Spike was also a personal friend of mine who I met and played basketball with back home on the Ft. Peck Reservation.

Our condolences and prayers go out for his relatives in Montana and in Oklahoma, especially his wife Stephanie and his children.
