ZITA

Here we have zita available for adoption.
Zita is a Female yorkie aged 4 years.
She has been vet checked and had her first vaccination. She is being spayed on Monday 19th January and is ready for her new home now.
Zita will be your best friends within 5 mins. She is a Lively, playful, loving young girl. She loves to play with her toys and will chase a ball for as long as you are willing to throw it 😁 She is also quite happy to play alone.
Initially she was barky with new noises (to her) in the home but this has calmed down.
She loves cuddles and belly rubs. She is not a lap dog but will lie close to you when she sleeps.
She can be nervous when first introduced to a dog but quickly adapts and has shows no aggression to any dog she has met, she is learning to play with other dogs on her walks.
A kind resident dog or dogs would benefit her confidence or she could be an only dog.
She has been around the resident cats and is good with the very dog savvy one but will bark at the others who run and she will chase.
She loves children and is brilliant around them, but can be jumpy and playful. She has been lovely with the fosterers 11 year old niece.
She loves human company but has been left for up to 3 hours. She does cry initially but then settles down.
Swifty loves her walks and walks very well on the lead.
She can still be nervous around crowds and loud noises so recall will need work before she goes off lead. She will walk for hours.
She currently sleeps downstairs in the sofa or with me on the bed, once settled she sleeps all night.
She loves people, she is initially wary but within seconds she Will be your friend.
She is currently in a busy foster home and she thrives in it, she loves people coming and going and is curious all the time with what is going on.

Zita potty trained so you have nothing to worry about that, as long as she knows where the bathroom is, she will do her needs by herself.
She has learnt routine very fast.
She loves her food and is not a fussy eater 😁
This little girl will grow in confidence with lots of patience reassurance and love and be the perfect companion. She has come on leaps and bounds in the time she has been in her foster home.

She is an absolute sweetheart and has lots of love to give

The type of home zita needs...
..An active home where she will get a lot of love and attention and go on lovely walks and even hikes...She can be an only dog or live with other well balanced similar type dogs...Children 9 plus...Allow her to sleep where she is most comfortable...Must have a private secure garden.

The successful applicants, anyone else in the home and any resident dogs could travel to meet her but we can deliver .
Maximum Drive is 1 hour.

Miles 3years 7pounds.
I've been here at Emporium Yorkie Rescue Department for exactly 4 weeks now. I am a Breeder surrender little one. In the first week I went to the dogter and got me neutered, got a micro chip, and got up-to-date on all my necessary vaccinations. This is fairly common for Breeder surrender pups because that's all they're used for. In case you're curious I will eat both wet canned food and dry kibble with no problem at all. Everything I get is such a treat these days verses that dried cheap kibble tossed in my kennel. The pups that come from backyard breeders usually get no socialization, never go see a dogter for anything and are fed the cheapest food possible. They are only let out of the kennel to go visit a girl pup so they can do the monkey dance, and then they go back to their very own kennel. I have never ever been groomed, so foster mom is trying to cut out the tangles and to the point where she feels comfortable taking me to the groomers. We are slowly getting them cut out. I will be even cuter when I get my little spa day scheduled.

I am slowly approaching foster mom as I feel more comfortable here. She will put her hand out and I will go slowly up to her and give her a little kiss and then I'll back away and wag my tail and sometimes I go back and do it, and sometimes we do Pete, and repeat. I am potty trained. I do not like a harness and leash right now because I've never seen them or had them on me so my future Pawrent will have to continue with the training of walking with a leash.

I love to play with all the other foster dogs and the residential dog here especially Cotton. We wrestle a lot inside the house but when we go outside we play tag we are too fast for foster mom to get a video of us. I am learning how to play with toys, and my favorites right now are the Nyla bones.

So here's a list of things I want and need in my furever home.

*NO chain-link fences. A fenced backyard or safe environment would be pawsitively pawfect.

*A friend to play with would be pawsome 15 pounds or less if possible.

*Future Pawrents will need lots of patience and realize that there will be lots of training in the future for me. A plus would be if my Pawrent(s) are retired or work from home.

*Children or not I'm comfortable.

*Lots of wonderful, healthy dog food. It can come from a can or it can be dry kibble or it can be a mix of the both because that's what I get here. I've heard homemade dog food is most excellent and very yummy.

My needs and wants are fairly simple. I may be three years old and weigh a whopping 6 pounds but I am still a puppy and will always look like a puppy fur furever. Foster mom thinks I am a pretty smart dog with what she sees of me coming out of my breeder surrender shell. She believes that once I become a "real dog," I will most likely be really smart, and that I can learn tricks and commands pretty easy.

This quiet little lady may be small at just 6.5 pounds, but her heart is enormous. Ava was surrendered, i wish we could jeep her but beingaroundother dogs at the rescuemakes her a littleuncomfortable. She is notba Yorkie for those who would say we are a YorkieRescue, but we accepted to find Ava a new home. It's clear she's weathered some tough times - but you'd never know it from the way she warms up and leans in for affection.
Ava is around 3-year-old with a strong cuddle game. This sweet girl is low-maintenance, affectionate, and perfect for someone looking for a calm, loving companion. She prefers quiet companionship and would be happiest curled up next to her favorite person. Ava needs to be the only dog in a peaceful home. She isn't big on sharing her human. She's incredibly easy going - rarely barks. Ava rides well in the car, enjoys being brushed, loves a leisurely walk, and never says no to a snack.
She's been fully vetted: spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and had a full dental work. Now, she's ready for the soft landing she deserves. Ava is looking for a home where she can be cherished for exactly who she is.

🩷 Meet Maple ! 🩷

Maple is the last of our l of 3! Maple is the smallest, and might just be the cutest! Maple is a 1 year Maltese mix weighing 4.8Lbs. Maple is a happy go lucky girl who loves to play with toys and cuddle up to watch a movie. Maple is wonderful with other dogs, cats, and well mannered children.

Maple is fixed, UTD on age appropriate shots, dewormed, flea treated, & microchipped. She is now accepting applications! Although we allow out of area adoptions we require families to pick up in person if possible. We do ship or transport our dogs.

Meet precious Marley, a 2 year old, 5 pound Yorkie girl being fostered. All 50states applicants will be considered.
Here she is absolutely adorable girl who came into emporium Yorkie Rescue just 24 hours ago and what a cutie. She is 5 lbs of energy who jumps up high and spins when she is excited for her dinner or to go for a walk. Her first night she laid between her foster mom and dad and didn't make a peep all night...snuggle baby for sure. We get a laugh watching her because she is always moving like a hummingbird and never stops.
She hangs out with 3 foster dogs but she would best be in her new home as an only baby. That's because she loves lots of attention and getting and giving many kisses.
Harley is up to date on her vaccines and also spayed and have her dental. So far she shows us that she is potty trained and loves to be outdoors to explore.

These Yorkies are still available for adoption also from the 11 we rescued last week. 2 black adult 2 yr old females and 2-7 month old males silver and tans and 1 black and white 19 week old male. Maizy is a 1-year-old 4.5 pound Biewer Yorkie who was rescued from a commercial breeder the beginning of November, so she has a Fall/Thanksgiving themed name. Maizy is a very mellow gal who loves taking walks, laying on her dog bed and hanging out on the sofa. She also loves her toys and likes to get them all out of the toy basket and leave them all over the floor! Maizy is still learning to trust that she is loved & safe, so she is looking for a special family who will be patient and give her the time that she needs. She has come a long way during her time with her foster family. She wags her tail, loves going for walks (she walks beautifully on the leash) She has the softest & most beautiful black coat, perfect for lots of pets. She even has a kissing spot on her head, so you know exactly where to give her kisses! Her new family will need to make sure she gets regular grooming. Maizy does well in a crate, although she doesn't need it anymore as she just loves laying on her bed. She rides well in the car. Maizy gets along with her foster sister, a Golden Retriever and ignores the cats. Because Maizy gets nervous with too much excitement, no younger kids for her. She would love to have a fenced in yard to play in and a dog sibling to help her continue her journey of becoming her best self. She is a wonderful house guest! Maizy is potty trained, although we say that regression is common in new situations. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. Meet sweet little Abby, will be 4 years old in 2026, 4.2 pound Yorkie girl.

Abby is a tiny female yorkie estimated to be 3-4 years old weighing 4.2 lbs that was surrendered to the Austin Animal Center as a stray. When surrendered to the shelter her eyes were crusted shut, she had a terrible ear infection, hearing loss, a skin infection, hair loss, and she was full of worms and fleas. The shelter staff contacted Emporium Yorkie Rescue Department to see if we would be willing to help her as they wanted to get her out of the shelter as soon as possible due to her condition. So they picked her up and got her in to see one of our amazing vets the same day. Abby is now resting comfortably in her foster home and has been treated for all of those nasty infections. She is in perfect condition and available for adoption. Not Everyone but just one person will be considered for her so you can contact us via the info below.
