Neighbors across OKC are invited to attend and OCPD’s “Cookout with Cops” at Plaza in Historic Capitol Hill on Saturday, April 11!

This is the latest cookout in a series of events designed to bring communities and Oklahoma City Police Department together in a relaxed atmosphere to strengthen relationships over free food and refreshments, activities and games, and information about neighborhood safety and community resources, while meeting local officers.

The party runs from 12pm-4pm but food will be served between 12pm and 2pm. Hope to see you there!



La Alianza de Vecindarios del Centro de Oklahoma y el Departamento de Policía de Oklahoma City invita a los vecinos de todo OKC a una “Parrillada con la Policía” en Plaza Calle Dos Cinco el sábado 11 de abril.

Este evento es el más reciente convivio de una serie de eventos diseñados para reunir a las comunidades y al Departamento de Policía de Oklahoma City en un ambiente relajado, con el fin de fortalecer relaciones mientras se disfruta de comida y bebidas gratis, actividades y juegos, e información sobre la seguridad del vecindario y recursos comunitarios, además de conocer a oficiales locales.

La fiesta será de 12 p. m. a 4 p. m., pero la comida se servirá entre 12 p. m. y 2 p. m.. ¡Esperamos verte allí!

Remerge is a pre-trial diversion program empowering high-risk, high-needs mothers facing non-violent felony charges to break cycles of addiction, trauma, and incarceration—helping them rebuild their lives while strengthening families and communities.

During the MAPS 4Community and Neighborhood Parks Master Plan process, residents played a key role in shaping the future of Oklahoma City’s neighborhood and community parks. Staff are now at the next phase of design and need your input again!

On this website, you can view the preliminary concept design for your neighborhood or community park and provide feedback on specific design elements and preferences!

Lots of Ward 6 parks in this set, we encourage you to take a look and provide your thoughts and preferences!

Después de varios años de liderazgo al frente de Calle Dos Cinco, Gloria Torres anunció que dejará su cargo como Directora Ejecutiva a partir del 13 de febrero de 2026.

Desde 2019, su trabajo fue clave para fortalecer los programas comunitarios, crear alianzas y hacer realidad proyectos como Plaza Calle Dos Cinco, hoy uno de los espacios más importantes del Distrito Histórico de Capitol Hill.
