Dear OAN Community,

Our "Learn to Dance" program was a great success last week! We had 18 young members for the dance session, and approximately 25 children joined us later to learn, exercise, and spend time together. The kids also sang a bhajan and National Anthem of Nepal.

This is more than just a dance class—it's a community program designed to help Nepali children get to know one another, grow together, build friendships, and develop confidence while staying connected to our culture.

Reminder: Based on the consensus of participating families, we have decided to move the class start time to 10:00 AM going forward.

Also, to help children focus, gain independence, and participate fully, parents will not be allowed in the dance classroom during class time.

Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to seeing everyone this Sunday!

Dear OAN Community,

As promised, Oklahoma Association of Nepalese (OAN) will be hosting Nepali Dance Classes for Kids this summer!

Dance Classes for Kids

Where: 2325 NW 151st Street, Edmond, OK 73013
When: Every Sunday
Time: 11:00 AM
Instructor: Neema Lama
Duration: Approximately 1 hour (we will adjust as the program grows)
Cost: $10 per child, per class

Our goal goes beyond dance. We want to create a space where children can learn Nepali language, culture, traditions, and etiquette while building friendships within our community.

We believe that when our children come together, our community grows stronger. This is just the beginning, and we hope to expand this program in the future.

We Need Your Support!
Your participation, encouragement, and ideas will help us grow this program and create meaningful opportunities for our children to stay connected to their Nepali heritage.

Please bring your children and help us build a stronger Nepali community for future generations.
