To know Emery is to love her. She has a heart of gold, and I know the judges will feel that light the moment she walks into the room. I feel so lucky to be her Miss and to have had a front-row seat to her journey this year. 🤍

Pinch Me!!! Miss Oklahoma Preliminary Competition Night One Is Complete!! 🥳✨

Last night was so special!! I loved every moment and am so proud of my performance!!! 🥹

The best part of the night, though, is always before the show. Hearing Tessa’s encouraging words, singing the annual song, and being surrounded by the best girls in the state is truly something special. 🤍

I am so excited for tonight and can’t wait to do it all again!!! Don’t miss Preliminary Night Two!!! 🤸‍♀️✨

My journey with the Miss America Opportunity started 19 years ago when I stepped on stage as a Miss Oklahoma Star. To say today was a full-circle moment is an understatement.🤍

This conversation with the judges meant so much to me because the younger Katelyn who stepped onto that Oklahoma stage would be incredibly proud of the woman who walked into the interview room today. This organization has shaped my life in more ways than I ever realized, and I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to share those experiences with our judges today.🥹

Now that interview is complete, it’s time to move on to the next rehearsals and phases of competition!!! ✨

✨ Miss Oklahoma City has a new home! ✨

Beginning this year, we’ll be taking the stage at the OCCC Visual and Performing Arts Center Theater.

This partnership represents so much more than a venue. It’s a shared commitment to education, leadership, community impact, and providing opportunities that help young women grow into confident changemakers.

We are beyond excited to call OCCC home and cannot wait to create unforgettable memories in this incredible space.

Just a casual ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS later... 👀👀

One of my favorite events of the week just got even better! This luncheon has always been so special as the Miss Oklahoma Organization welcomes us, our families, and our teams to a timeless event while awarding scholarship dollars before we even hit the stage! This year was EXTRA special because our organization awarded $120,000 in scholarships!!!! 🥳

I am honored and humbled to be the recipient of the Radiance Community Service Award, the Addison Price Brown Social Media Award, and to be recognized as an official Gold Member of the Oklahoma Order of Excellence. Each of these honors means so much to me because they represent areas where I challenged myself to grow throughout this journey. I pushed myself to reach new heights on social media and worked hard to ensure my CSI touched the lives of students across our state.✨

I am incredibly thankful to have already received over $3,000 in scholarship dollars today, and I cannot wait to see what the rest of the week holds. 🤍

Anyways, I’m done blabbing now!!! I just feel EXTREMELY grateful as I write this. 🥹
