🎒❤️ What a busy, blessed weekend! ❤️🎒

Friday, Saturday, and today, Sunday, we had the incredible blessing of serving 19 children with their back-to-school shopping! 🛍️📚✏️

We are continually reminded that God provides every single thing we need to serve these children and families. What may look like a simple shopping trip to some is so much more to us—it’s an opportunity to show these children that they are loved, valued, and not forgotten. ❤️

Every donation, every prayer, and every person who comes alongside us is part of what God is doing through this ministry.

19 children. 19 opportunities to love, serve, and be the hands and feet of Jesus. 🙏🏼

Today we had the privilege of serving 9 kiddos, and they had so much fun shopping and picking out their brand-new backpacks! 🥰 Seeing their excitement as they choose things that are just for them is exactly why we do what we do.

A few of our kiddos are not pictured because their families asked that we not share their photos. We completely respect their privacy and are just as grateful that we were able to serve them. ❤️

‼️We need your help‼️

I’m going to be completely honest.
We need your help.
Nana’s Closet:Nana’s Christmas Sharing is looking for 300–500 people willing to give just $10 a month. That’s about the cost of two specialty coffees—or $120 a year—but together it would allow us to continue serving families in our community.

We have outgrown our current location, but we do not have the funding to move into a larger space. Your monthly gift would help us:

• Rent a larger facility so families can shop with dignity.�
• Hire a full-time staff member to care for families, receive and sort donations, and purchase essential items we receive through donations.�
• Keep our doors open and continue providing our services at no cost to the families we serve.

Now for the difficult part.
Several nonprofits have recently closed their doors due to a lack of funding. Organizations like Christmas Connection, RSVP (Retired Senior Volunteer Program), and others are no longer able to serve our community. As those resources disappear, we know more families will turn to us for clothing, shoes, essential items, and Christmas assistance.

Our mission has always been simple: Families will never pay for our services. We want every child and every caregiver who walks through our doors to receive help without financial barriers.

I’d also like to encourage you to think about where your charitable dollars go. Large organizations often have substantial operating budgets and multiple paid staff members. Smaller, community-based nonprofits like ours stretch every dollar, meaning your gift can have an immediate, personal impact on the families we serve.
