Dear community:

Although we were eagerly anticipating MDAC 2026, National Hill Days have been scheduled on the same week, and Oklahoma's presence in Washington, D.C., has been deemed essential. For this reason, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Oklahoma Muslim Day at the Capitol in favor of inviting our community to join us in the nation's capitol to advocate for our futures at the highest level of government.

Black History Month is a time for Americans to recognize and learn about the monumental contributions that Black Americans have made to our country's history. Our state has benefited tremendously from the contributions of Black Oklahomans who have been civil rights advocates, entrepreneurs, leaders, innovators, teachers, lawyers, doctors, and more throughout our history.

We invite you to join us as we honor the history that has made our state great throughout the month of February and to take the lessons and commitments of this month with you throughout the year.
