We’d like to thank all of our judges from chapters across the country, who scored our 2021 Music City Gold Pen Award entries. IABC Atlanta, IABC Central Oklahoma, IABC Dallas, IABC Houston, IABC Southern Region and IABC South Carolina.

For those who are not familiar with the process of local IABC awards, chapters take part in “reciprocal judging” so that scoring is fair and impartial. Judging is also a great way to learn about innovative and successful communications approaches and best practices, and get tips to improve your own entries in the future.

The Central Oklahoma chapter of IABC is one of the oldest communication organizations in Oklahoma.

Our chapter began in the 1940s and as it grew it was renamed the Society of Associated Industrial Editors until it merged into the International Council of Industrial Editors.

IABC was born in 1970 as a merger between the two organizations and today our community has more than 13,000 members worldwide. Our members represent a broad foundation of communicators including international corporations, government entities, non-profit organizations and independent consultants.
