A shirt campaign, yard signs, a membership drive, an online store – your PTSA is working extra-hard this fall to raise funds, because we have big ambitions. Teacher and staff appreciation meals and recognition remain our largest ongoing program. The PTSA coordinates with organizations like the OKC Community Foundation for the beautification of school grounds and facilities. We’re deepening our partnership with CSAS Athletics for programs like Homecoming and Northeast HS Legacy events. We’re also awarding a college scholarship. All this is to say, every PTSA membership and every piece of merch you buy makes a real difference in the Classen community. You’ll love the detail in this shirt design. It’s inspired by the imprint that’s become iconic at colleges across the country, with tall letters arching over a medallion. Inside the medallion is a shield custom-designed for Classen SAS. A comet soars over an open book with the Latin inscription, “Ingredere ut Discas; Egredere ut Servias.” It translates to, “Enter to Learn; Go Forth to Serve,” which is inscribed on the front exterior tower of the high school building at Northeast.
