Finally got a little break from the blazing-ass heat yesterday and had a damn good time throwing discs with great people.

Good weather, good company, and somehow managed to shoot my new personal best at 5 under. I’ll take it.

As always, connection comes first. The low score was just a nice bonus.

Blazing-ass heat, good people, good times. Who fu***ng cares what the temperature is when you’re out here having fun and making connections?

Managed to shoot a -4, enjoy a stogie, and spend the afternoon with some pretty damn good company. Hard to beat that.

Connection comes first. Always.

Hey guys, one of our community partners, House of Healing, is looking for veterans who might be interested in volunteering with teens and horses this fall.

They work with teens from Yukon and Mustang schools during the week and have several daytime volunteer opportunities available. You don’t need any horse experience either.

Volunteer training is this Saturday from 9-noon.

If this sounds like something you’d be interested in, you can fill out the volunteer form here:

Adults seeking to volunteer on a regular basis at House of Healing should complete this form as the first step in our volunteer process.

Friday afternoon therapy looks a little different around here.

Good people, good (hot) weather, and a few discs flying at the park.

Recovery isn’t just about what you leave behind. It’s about finding the people, places, and experiences that make life worth showing up for again.

Connection comes first.
