Oklahoma Alliance On Aging Identifying needs of aging Oklahomans, educating on issues, and advocating for solutions

The Oklahoma Alliance on Aging is a non-profit, tax exempt 501 (c)(3), non-partisan coalition committed to the welfare of older Oklahomans. We strive for a future where older Oklahomans receive the care, respect, and opportunity to age with optimal health and dignity. We envision an Oklahoma where older adults thrive, supported by strong policies, empowered communities, and a collective voice advo

cating for their dignity and well-being. We focus on monitoring legislation and advocating for policies that protect and benefit older Oklahomans.

On this day in 1965, the Older Americans Act was signed into law, creating a lasting national commitment to supporting older adults.

Today, the OAA continues to strengthen communities by supporting home- and community-based services that help older adults remain healthy, independent, and connected as they age. Through the national aging services network, these programs provide nutrition, transportation, caregiver support, elder justice services, and much more.
