Please join us in welcoming Caleb Knight to Pheasants Forever & Quail Forever as the new Oklahoma & Southern Kansas Regional Representative!

A Checotah, Oklahoma native, Caleb grew up with a passion for the outdoors. He played baseball at the University of Virginia and spent eight years in the Chicago Cubs organization before turning his focus toward habitat management, conservation, outdoor media, and youth mentorship.

We’re excited to have Caleb bringing his Oklahoma roots, leadership experience, and passion for conservation to our PF/QF chapters across the region.

Chapters are the heart of PF/QF, and Caleb is here to help you succeed. If you’re a chapter volunteer, officer, or partner in Oklahoma or southern Kansas, reach out, introduce yourself, and let Caleb know how he can support your chapter and its conservation goals.

Your dollars being put to work where you want them to!

With the recent acquisition of 377 acres of wetland habitat, Drummond Flat WMA now offers more opportunities to hunt on public lands. ODWC partnered with Ducks Unlimited and Quail Forever to acquire the land, allowing us to protect critical habitat for waterfowl, upland game and other migratory birds.

The 2026 August Quail Roadside Survey is out! We are grateful for our partners at the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) and Upland Game Biologist, Tell Judkins for their dedication to tracking quail populations across our state and maintaining this data year-in and year-out! This Patriot Day marks 25 years since nearly 3,000 lives were lost on September 11, 2001. Today, we remember and honor those heroes who responded to tragedy and answered the call to serve, and carry that spirit forward—by helping in our communities, conserving our lands and wildlife, and celebrating the outdoor traditions that connect generations of Americans.

OK PF/QF invites anyone interested in managing Cross Timbers and Tallgrass Prairie plant communities to this upcoming field tour hosted by the Society for Range Management.

One stop along the tour is an excellent example of local Quail Forever chapters making a meaningful impact on upland wildlife habitat on public lands, and how Cross Timbers forests can be manipulated for both excellent quail habitat and livestock grazing opportunities.
