Good morning hockey fans. Let’s start your day off with a HUGE SHOUTOUT to our buddy Zaden Henderson for receiving the “Wally Award” at the Wayne Gretzky Camp up in St. Louis.

For those of you that don’t know, Wally is short for Walter which is Wayne’s father. He was an avid player as a youth, a philanthropist within the game, and an innovative father and coach to the greatest player in the history of our game.

Congrats on this wonderful accomplishment Zaden. You’re a fine young man with a big future. Keep up the great work!

If you’re looking for power skating mixed with some shooting and scoring then come join Bellz Edge Owner Gordon Bell, lead instructor Ivan Bondarenko, and goalie coach Grant Linville down in San Antonio for a three day camp July 8th-10th.

This registration session will allow you to complete contact information, sign up for participation, and submit payment. Please read through each page carefully to ensure that all information is provided accurately.

We had a chance to honor some of our student-athletes last night. We had 9 of 12 students who had an 80% or better, 5 that were 90% or better, and 1 student that was 95% or better.

These kids get challenged daily in their academics with a lot of their curriculum being self-taught. The EPIC online system can be extremely difficult for many students but these Thunderbirds rose to the challenge. Well done!!

We need to congratulate Sean Biebrich as he was this year’s choice for our Thunderbird of the Year. Sean has been on a 3 year journey with us and we know everyone around him can see the progress he’s made both on and off the ice.

At times, when we didn’t have a goalie coach present, Sean would take it upon himself to run the goalie portions of our skates. That’s what we’re all about. Leadership development. On top of that Sean has lost over 20 lbs since September!

Sean has changed his body and his mindset over the course of three years and now has the belief that he can accomplish so much more! We’re proud of you buddy. We love you. And we will always be here for you!
