Red Oak PTA

Red Oak PTA Red Oak Elementary PTA's mission is to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all.

Group Rules:

1. Be Kind and Courteous: We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

2. No Hate Speech or Bullying: Make sure everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things like race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will

not be tolerated. Obscenities will not be tolerated.

3. No Promotions or Spam: Give more than you take to this group. Self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links are not allowed.

4. Respect Everyone's Privacy: Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.

As we wrap up the school year, our teachers could really use some extra hands! We need volunteers Thursday to help move items into storage.

Please note: children CANNOT be present on Thursday.

If you have responsible high schoolers who are willing to help with some heavy lifting and can stay focused (no running the halls or playing around), we would greatly appreciate their help too!

Thank you for supporting our teachers and school staff!

🚨 Lost & Found 🚨

Our Lost & Found is overflowing and everything left behind will be donated at the end of the day on May 20th!

Several hooks are doubled up, so there may be treasures waiting to be reunited with their owners. Please have your kids take a quick walk through and claim anything that belongs to them before it’s gone for good!

Next week is Staff Appreciation Week, and we’re so excited to celebrate our amazing staff!

Our FANTASTIC Staff Appreciation Chair, Brenda S., has put together an incredible theme (round of applause for her 👏). She goes above and beyond to make sure our staff feels truly loved and appreciated all year long, not just during this special week.

A big thank you as well to our generous sponsors—Southern Hills Baptist Church, Richard Whittington with Whittington Realty, and Dusty Treat with State Farm—for helping make this celebration possible.

We can’t wait to show our staff just how much they mean to us!

We could really use some volunteers for a couple of upcoming events!

On May 12th, our 5th graders will be watching their Camp Classen film, and we need one or two helpers to assist with popping popcorn.

Then on May 15th, we have Super Kids Day—a big, fun event that requires lots of helping hands to run smoothly. As they say, many hands make light work!

If you’re available to help with either (or both!), we’d greatly appreciate it.

We enjoyed the Moore Council Luncheon earlier this month! We were honored to receive the Moore Momentum Award, 100% Council Meeting Attendance, and the Outstanding Service Award.

A special shoutout to Cheron H. and Lurdes Q., our PTA Volunteers of the Year. As co-chairs of our STEAM Night, they spent countless hours planning and ensuring the event was a great success. Events like these simply wouldn’t be possible without dedicated volunteers who prepare, organize, and bring everything together. Thank you both for your hard work and commitment!
