Yesterday, we closed out our annual Church Finance Conference, and reflecting on it today brings one word to mind: gratitude. Among a couple hundred in attendance, 152 churches were represented — and thanks to our virtual option, ministry leaders from 12 states joined in from laptops, streaming TVs, and even their phones.

Our prayer now is that every church that joined us — near or far — walks away equipped to lead well in the finances at their church and that what they learned frees up time, energy, and resources for what matters most — the Gospel work happening in and around their church.

None of this happens without our sponsors, like Ramp and Church Insurance Solutions Oklahoma, who believed in this conference enough to invest in it, or our speakers who gave their time and expertise for one reason: to serve the Kingdom. We’re grateful for every one of them.

Tomorrow is the day! 🗓️

We cannot wait to welcome everyone to CFC26 in Broken Arrow (and online) — a full day of learning, connecting, and equipping, with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church Broken Arrow. And then we'll be in Moore on Thursday to do it again.

Grateful for this community and excited for what tomorrow holds.

Yesterday marked our fourth Development Officer Lunch and Learn at the WatersEdge office in Bricktown. More than a dozen development officers from our ministry partners across the state joined us, and Preston Hudson, director of planned giving, picked up right where August's session left off.

Back in August, the topic was how to build relationships with givers. This time: how to keep them. How to steward resources faithfully. How to say thank you in a way that actually means something. How to earn trust and hold onto it.

These are the people working quietly behind the scenes so that camps stay open, kids get cared for, and the Gospel continues to advance. We're grateful we get to serve them and alongside them, just as we're grateful for every giver who makes their work possible.

Broken Arrow and our online event kick off on Tuesday, September 22. Moore follows on Thursday, September 24. Both run 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
