Meet Ellie, a gorgeous 3-year-old Redbone Coonhound, about 45 lbs, who was rescued from a local shelter. She’s been waiting patiently in boarding, but what she really needs is a home and a family of her own.

💙 Foster Option: We provide the crate, food, and supplies—you provide the love and rides to adoption events.

Ellie is affectionate, playful, and always up for adventure. She’s the kind of dog who would happily go on hikes, runs, or long walks with you, then curl up beside you when it’s time to relax. She has a big heart and plenty of love to give. 💕

In true hound fashion, Ellie loves to occasionally sing the song of her people 🎶, so she’s looking for a home (not an apartment) with a secure stockade fence to safely play and explore.

She’s been wonderful with the children she’s met at adoption events and is sure to bring joy and laughter wherever she goes.

This handsome goofball is Cappy, a 2 year old Boxer/Pit Bull mix and 55 lbs of pure joy! Rescued off the streets of OKC, he’s now dreaming of a cozy couch and a family of his own.

Cappy is the definition of a happy dog! He doesn’t know a stranger, loves people, and would probably be amazing with kids. His favorite pastime? Tossing his toys in the air and entertaining himself like the silly boy he is.

Artemis may be the smallest of her siblings, but she has enough love, charm, and determination packed into her little body to fill an entire room!

Her signature move? Full-body butt wiggles 🤩 When Artemis is happy to see you, her tail gets going so fast that her whole back end joins the party. It’s impossible not to smile when this little wiggle machine comes bouncing your way.

This sweet girl loves companionship and is happiest when she’s surrounded by friends. Whether she’s snuggling up with her people, playing with another dog, or romping around with her favorite feline buddy, Artemis is all about connection.

Like any 3 month old puppy, Artemis is still mastering all the puppy essentials: potty training, leash skills, and finishing up her puppy vaccines. She’s looking for a family ready to guide her through those exciting milestones with patience, encouragement, and lots of treats.

With her gentle, loving nature, Artemis would fit beautifully into a home with children of any age. She simply wants a family to grow up with and people to love.

🐾 Help Us Fix Lexi's Knees! 🐾

Meet Lexi! ❤️

Lexi is one of the sweetest, most loving, and playful girls you'll ever meet. She came into our rescue after her previous family surrendered her because she "dug" a hole in their new couch and no longer wanted her. Since joining us, Lexi has thrived in her foster home and has proven what a wonderful companion she truly is.

Now, just six weeks later, Lexi was getting ready to start her happily-ever-after with her forever family when we received some unexpected news.

After developing an occasional limp, Lexi was examined by our veterinarian and diagnosed with bilateral luxating patellas—meaning both of her kneecaps slip out of place. Without surgery, this condition can cause pain, mobility issues, and long-term joint damage.

The good news is that this can be corrected. The difficult part is the cost.

Lexi's surgery is estimated to cost approximately **$2,000**, an expense our rescue did not anticipate. We would love to schedule her surgery as soon as possible—ideally this coming Thursday—but we need your help to make that happen.

As always, Forever Yours Dog Rescue has **no paid employees**. Every dollar donated goes directly toward the care of dogs like Lexi. We are also a **501(c)(3) nonprofit organization**, so your donation may be tax-deductible.
