The My Favorite Book contest is now open! 📖✨ Whether it's a story that made you laugh, cry, or dream, we want to hear about the books that inspire you! Write a letter to the author of a favorite book, series, or short story, and you could be recognized for your writing. 🏆

Parents, teachers, and librarians encourage your kids, students and patrons to participate! It’s a great way to nurture the love of reading and writing—and they could earn cash rewards. 💵

📚 The FINALISTS for the 35th Annual Oklahoma Book Awards will be announced this Friday starting at noon! 🥳

Books are recognized each year for outstanding work in fiction, non-fiction, children/young adult, design/illustration/photography, and poetry. Those that qualify are written by an Oklahoman, about the state, or have an Oklahoma theme. This year, the Oklahoma Center for The Book received 179 entries and only twenty-eight were chosen as finalists.
