“New connections, greater confidence and a renewed excitement for the women leaders we have in our industry.”

That’s how one attendee described her experience at the 3rd Elevate Women in Ag event, and it’s exactly why opportunities like this matter.

Earlier this month, Oklahoma Pork was proud to support this incredible event, bringing together women from across agriculture to connect, learn and grow.

We were honored to help make the day a little more special through custom Oklahoma Pork attendee bags and professional headshots by fellow swine enthusiast Whitney Dahmer.

We also had the opportunity to facilitate a panel featuring pork industry leaders Dr. Alyssa Betlach of Swine Vet Center, Mandy Gerhart of Pipestone Nutrition and Erin Brenneman of Brenneman Pork. Their insights and leadership inspired meaningful conversations among attendees from across the agricultural community.

Thank you to Zinpro Corporation and United Animal Health for sponsoring this incredible event, and to everyone who helped make it such a meaningful experience to celebrate the women leading our industry forward.

Another great day at World Pork Expo!

There’s nothing quite like spending a few days surrounded by people who care deeply about the pork industry. We’ve enjoyed reconnecting with familiar faces, meeting new friends, and hearing what’s top of mind for producers from across the country.

Thank you, WPX, for another great year. Safe travels home, and we’ll see you next time!

🗣️ SUNDAY SHOUTOUT to Deputy Commissioner of Agriculture JanLee Rowlett for seven years of faithful service to Oklahoma agriculture!

Over the years, JanLee has been a dedicated advocate for Oklahoma farmers and ranchers and a tremendous supporter of Oklahoma Pork. From showering into a sow farm in the panhandle to participating in our annual blood drive, she has consistently gone above and beyond in support of production agriculture and the people behind it.

As she transitions from the Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food and Forestry to a new role with the Livestock Marketing Association outside Kansas City, we’re excited for her next adventure as she continues serving U.S. agriculture. Thank you, JanLee, for your leadership, support, and dedication to Oklahoma agriculture!
