August’s Third Thursday Photowalk is happening TONIGHT at 1984 Studios, and we’re ready for an evening of photography, creativity, and collaboration!

Our friends at 1984 Studios are opening their doors to the Bedford Camera community, giving us a unique space to explore, experiment, and create something a little different.

Whether you’re looking to build your portfolio, play with lighting and composition, try something outside your usual style, or just hang out with fellow photographers — bring your camera and come create with us!

Competition spotlight: Color
The primary rule for images in the color division, they must be in color! This is an open category and images can be of any subject and using any photographic technique. You are only limited by your imagination, interest, and creativity. In this division, composition and impact are as important as good photographic technique. Competition spotlight: Photo Travel
A Photo Travel image is a portrayal of the real world we live in, as it is found naturally. There are no geographic limitations. Photo travel images include depictions of characteristics of a place or culture. Images may show landscapes, animals or people but must represent a sense of the place. Events or people that are set up specifically for photography are not allowed in this division. Images may be presented in color or monochrome and some editing is allowed (such as cropping, image stitching, and color correction). Removing or adding elements to the photograph are not permitted. There is no need to travel to all corners of the earth to find compelling travel photos, they can be found right in your own city or town! 📸Photo credit: Randy Carr
