Being an ally isn’t about having all the answers 💖

It’s about being willing to listen. To learn. To use someone’s name and pronouns. To speak up when something isn’t okay. To show up even when there isn’t a Pride flag flying everywhere.

And maybe most importantly, it’s about knowing when to listen and make space for q***r voices to lead.

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to be willing to practice allyship in the little moments that can make a BIG difference.

Because sometimes being an ally looks like a conversation.

Sometimes it looks like speaking up.

And sometimes… it looks like a hug and a reminder that you belong here. You are loved. You’re not alone 🫶🏻🌈✨

2018: a handful of volunteers showing up and hoping to make a difference.

2026: a movement powered by an incredible community of people showing up again and again for q***r Oklahomans. 💜

Over the years, we’ve grown in numbers, expanded our reach, and maybe most importantly, expanded our definition of what it means to be a “dad.”

Because around here, “dad” isn’t about gender.

It’s about showing up.
Protecting.
Encouraging.
Celebrating.
Advocating.
And reminding people they belong exactly as they are.

From then to now, one thing hasn’t changed: this community keeps proving that love shows up in a lot of different forms.

The volunteers show up with their time. Donations help make the rest possible 💜
