Thirst for a Cause raises funds to help with urgent medical expenses for members of Oklahoma's hospitality industry.

Through our non-profit, we are able to give back to the hard-working employees of our restaurant industry. Thirst for a Cause, an annual event started in 2009, raises funds to help with urgent medical expenses for members of Oklahoma City's hospitality industry. Through our non-profit Oklahoma Hospitality Foundation, we are able to give something back to the hard-working employees of our independe

nt restaurants & country clubs.

2025 marks the 16th year for the event and also promises to have an even better line-up than last year! As always, 35+ wineries & distilleries will be on hand pouring more than 200 outstanding wines! As you walk around and sample food from some of Oklahoma City's best restaurants, you'll be able to meet and interact with winemakers from all over the wine world. These vintners, who represent some of the best wines available in the country, are coming all the way to Oklahoma to help raise money for our cause. The Oklahoma Hospitality Foundation is a 501(c)3 charity, so your purchase is tax deductible and nearly 100% of the money raised at this event goes directly to the charity - not to cover costs.

Established in 2000 on the iconic Mickey Mantle Drive in OKC’s historic Bricktown, Mickey Mantle’s Steakhouse Restaurant welcomes guests with food fit for a legend. Named after Oklahoma’s own Mickey Mantle, our Oklahoma City steakhouse restaurant dazzles with a constantly evolving, chef-driven menu, a wine list featuring hard-to-find vintages and fresh harvests alike, and a warm atmosphere rich in comfort.

Akai Sushi-Ya & Izakaya🍣🍱🍶🍷🍸

Relatively new to the OKC scene, Akai is a standout dining destination in the growing Wheeler District. Since its opening, Akai has quickly become known for amazing service and hospitality, world-class sushi, killer bar program and a vibrant atmosphere more akin to larger cities.

The Venerable and Historic Red Rooster! 🐓🥙🥗🌮🍷🍸🥂🥃

Located “just a bit off” Paseo Arts District, Red Rooster is a new interpretation of the classic neighborhood tavern with all local taps, eclectic wines, and classic cocktails. Their menus highlight the best of the seasons. All of their eggs, chicken, pork, and beef are 100% pasture-raised and sourced from small, sustainable local farms.

Great atmosphere for dinner, killer Sunday brunch, beautiful patio right on the corner of 30th & Walker…what else could you want?!? Well, whatever it is, they probably have it next door at their sister concept 30th St. Market: grab & go, dine-in, bottle shop, and lots of other cool stuff!
