The Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Foundation was formed in 2018 to encourage private support to the Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation.

The first annual G.R.I.T. Golf Tournament is in the books!

It was a perfect day for golf and the event was made even better by our sponsors and participants. Thank you Stillwater Country Club for hosting the event and showing amazing hospitality on a phenomenal golf course.

Also thank you to Tulsa SCHEELS for the setup and demo clubs on the long drive hole. Oakley for the prizes and DEARINGERS for getting the awards and signage done right.

In celebration of the 250th birthday of the United States of America we are offering up this unique and patriotic statue. This Bronze Eagle Statue, crafted by the esteemed visionary Mark Russo, commemorates the 250th anniversary of the United States and symbolized freedom and strength valued at over $5000.

To make this raffle even more special all of the proceeds will be going to help support the Stars and Stripes License Project through the Dept. of Wildlife Conservation

Since 2016, the Wildlife Department’s Stars & Stripes License Project has been the community’s way of saying thank you to our veterans. Funded entirely by donors, this project provides hunting and fishing licenses to resident veterans and surviving family members at absolutely no cost to them.

Through this program, the Wildlife Department is able to award nearly 200 annual combination licenses each year to deserving veterans. And because the Wildlife Department receives zero state appropriated tax dollars, these purchased licenses generate crucial revenue that fund vital wildlife conservation across our state.

Raffle ends August 14th 2026 at 11:59pm and we will announce and contact the winners.

As we go through the end of spring and the early summer, we want to remind you of what you should or should not do when you spot young wildlife as they emerge. From hiding fawns to baby birds under a tree, it is best to leave them alone (mom will be back soon!) unless you see they are truly in need where a licensed wildlife rehabilitator should be notified immediately.

Through donations, we are able to support ODWC's Stars & Stripes License Project. This donor-funded project provides hunting and fishing licenses to military veterans and select survivors of veterans lost while serving their country. The Wildlife Department receives no state appropriated funds, so this project allows us to show appreciation to our veterans while maintaining revenue that supports important wildlife conservation in the state. Thousands of licenses have been provided through this project and at the same time, help fund wildlife conservation programs for Oklahomans!

Introducing the first annual G.R.I.T. Golf Tournament to help raise needed philanthropic dollars for our Game Wardens that serve Oklahoma and live in your communities.
