This week we had the pleasure of hosting a Global Oklahoma Gathering that featured Dr. Randy Kluver as guest speaker. Attendees learned more about Global Oklahoma as well as many of our important partners.

Dr. Kluver shared stories of how his parents helped hundreds of Vietnamese immigrants come to western Oklahoma in the 1970’s. More than 26,000 Vietnamese currently call Oklahoma home, in large part due to the efforts of the Kluver family. This is an interesting and important part of Oklahoma’s history, and we were honored to have Dr. Kluver share with our attendees.
