Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. is proud to join the other Divine Nine organizations in launching , a unified campaign in support of King100.

The Divine Nine is the first organizational partner to publicly launch King100, The King Center’s historic campaign honoring the 100th birthday of Coretta Scott King in 2027 and the 100th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. in 2029, while investing in the future of their work.

Honor Mrs. King and Dr. King, both members of the D9, with a symbolic gift of 2.5 million for The King Center, demonstrating the collective power
of the Divine Nine.

Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated mourns the loss of Soror Jedda "Ms. Dupree" Jones.

With razor-sharp wit, impeccable comedic timing, and the ability to make audiences laugh while delivering hard-earned wisdom, actress and comedian Soror Jones created one of the most beloved recurring characters in syndicated radio history.

She leaves behind a remarkable entertainment legacy that stretched across radio, film, television, and stand-up comedy. While she appeared in several acclaimed Hollywood productions, it was her unforgettable work as Ms. Dupree that cemented her place in Black radio culture and made her a household name among millions of listeners.
