Sharing tools to build a better community. SixTwelve seeks to bring many disciplines under one roof where community can flourish.

Located in the heart of the Paseo Arts District, SixTwelve provides opportunities for people both young and old to learn skills in the arts, music, cooking, gardening and sustainable local living. The space sports a cooperative garden, a teaching kitchen, a gallery, two outdoor performance stages, and two flexible classrooms. Due to children’s programming taking place on site, visitation is by appointment only and we are only open to the public during public program times. We thank you for your understanding.

This past July we gathered an all star crew, with one big surprise guest, to travel to Nashville and film Eric Slick’s interview. And what a beautiful time it was, full of sweet reunions.

A few words from Eric: “In March of this year, I applied for the SixTwelve Music Video Residency Grant and, to my bewilderment, I actually got it. What has transpired since then is a revitalized sense of creativity, a huge relief for my budget, and some new friends whom I admire completely. They filmed a mini-documentary at my house and you might notice some familiar faces in her (I’m mostly talking about my chorkie Mo). Steven Drozd just about gave me a heart attack when he surprised me at the house and I was blown away that after all these years we actually got to jam together. Much love to everyone at SixTwelve. You’ve changed my life for the better.”

For those of you following the story and adventures of our Queenie the Chicken, she has now been home for about a week and a half and FINALLY started eating and drinking on her own today!

Our final residents from the 2025 Residency, the etherial and blissed out duo, HOTT MT (HOTT MT )sat down with us in OKC the morning after their magical show at Resonant Head w/ Vinyl Williams to talk about their beginnings, what touring means to them, where it has taken them, their boundless DIY ethos and how the SixTwelve Tour Residency made hitting the road possible for them! This wonderful poster reel was made by Black Bird Cate Jones muddymallen for their Poster Residency here at 612 incidentally also for a show from Samantha Crain ‘s tour residency sponsored by Oklahoma Film + Music Office ! Can’t wait to see Sam and BertaB singing to us all so so soon!!

We had the extreem privilege of meeting and interviewing one of our 2026 SixTwelve Tour Support Residents, Audry Funk, this past Saturday. Audry is a force of nature and is really out there using power for good.

This show at ALL POWER BOOKS was filled with so many wonderful performers and activists, encouraging all of us to keep fighting for a better future for everyone. One of the other artists in the show, Figgy Baby, performed here in OKC at Resonant Head on his last tour! Hearing this really drove home how small this world can be. We’re all connected!

It has been an honor to work with Audry and her manager, nora rahimian, this year and we hope to see them again - maybe in OKC! Whatever happens, we will always be wishing goodness and success for both!
