💙 We are so excited to celebrate another beautiful Forever Family! After walking the adoption journey before, this family knew that beginning another adoption journey with DPA would once again be an adventure of trusting God.

They shared:
"This time, the story unfolded differently than our previous adoptions. We were able to meet our son's birth mom a few days before he was born, and she graciously invited Sarah into the delivery room. Afterward, we had hours of precious time together at the hospital. We are so thankful for her courage and love, we continue to pray for her and have treasured the time to spend with her even since finalization.

We didn't know the gender beforehand, so hearing 'It's a boy!' to join our three girls was an unforgettable moment. It has been such a joy to watch our girls welcome their little brother with open arms.

Once more, our family and church family stepped up with incredible support, reminding us how vital a loving church body is in the adoption process. If you're considering adoption, our biggest encouragement is this: don't walk the road alone. Let your church family pray with you, celebrate with you, and carry you through the hard parts.

Having walked this road before, we were struck once again by the far greater reality of our own adoption into God's family through faith in Jesus. Romans 8:15 is a beautiful reminder: 'For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, 'Abba! Father!' (ESV)"

🎉 It is official! We are so excited to celebrate this beautiful family as they recently finalized the adoption of their son! Their journey is a beautiful reminder of what can happen when we surrender our plans to God and trust Him with every step.

Throughout their adoption journey, they learned what it truly means to surrender to God’s will and trust in His plan. From making the decision to adopt, choosing DPA, being chosen by their son’s birth mom, and finally bringing their son home, they saw God’s hand in every step.

Their journey was filled with tears, questions, joy, and so much happiness. Through it all, God was leading them to their son. 💙

For families considering adoption, they offer this encouragement: keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing that God is working, even in the moments when you can’t see it. They also encourage families to keep their family and friends close throughout the process. Those people can help carry you through the hard days, celebrate the good ones, and experience alongside you the incredible love and joy that a child brings into your life.

We are so grateful to have been part of this family’s adoption journey and are honored to celebrate this special milestone with them. Please join us in congratulating this wonderful Forever Family!

For Seth and Erica, adoption has been on their hearts for nearly 15 years. What began as a dream early in their marriage has now become a beautiful next step for their family.

“We are grateful for the Lord’s timing. We’ve had adoption on our hearts since Seth and I were newlyweds, but it wasn’t the right time. Now, almost 15 years into marriage and 4 kids later (3 on earth and 1 in heaven), we are so certain this is where the Lord has led us. What a gift!” 🎁

And their three children are already dreaming about the baby who will one day join their family. 💭

Sunny, their oldest, is praying for a baby by Christmas. 🎄

Shiloh is ready to get bunk beds in his room to make space for a baby brother. 🛏️

And Gloria? She’s convinced the new baby will be her “twin” who loves Hello Kitty just like she does. 🎀

We love seeing the excitement, hope, and faith this family already has for the child they are waiting to welcome. Their hearts are ready, and they are trusting the Lord’s timing as they wait for their family to grow. 💗
