Ever wondered what spelunking is, which planet shines brightest in the Oklahoma sky in September or what selenite crystals look like up close? Join HAT for our NW Odyssey and discover the answers—and more!

We’ll kick things off Friday with a drive to Freedom, OK, and set up camp at Alabaster Caverns State Park. On Saturday, we’ll go wild caving, exploring three to four caves in the area—sometimes even crawling on our bellies through water and muck! (Don’t worry—while it’s hot above ground, the caves stay cool and full of adventure.)

On Sunday morning, we’ll head to the Great Salt Plains to dig for selenite crystals, wrapping up our weekend of exploration and discovery.
