Reach Forward Foundation We are a non-profit youth development program in NW OKC creating future-ready youth in grades 8-12.

Our focus is social skills, exploring post HS education and career opportunities, fin lit, community svc and involvement and more!

As we bring in the new year, things at Reach Forward will be quite different without my Heavenly Husband Fredrick Montgomery ! However the work will go on! We look forward to moving into our new location very soon and hosting our first 2026 Hangout in it, an Adulting Workshop with Tinker Federal Credit Union!

I am so sad to announce that Reach Forward Foundation has lost our Beloved CoFounder and Love of My Life, Fredrick Montgomery unexpectedly to a heart attack this past Sunday, December 14th, in the wee hours of the morning! A good chunk of his last day was spent doing what he loved, co-hosting our Annual Reach Forward Foundation Youth Development Program Christmas Party with me!

Another Reach Forward Foundation Hangout in the books! We had 10 NEW MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE today and a very engaging session on a variety of tasks, skills, responsibilities and things necessary to think about as one transitions from high school to the real world, including additional education, work as well as what's in store for our teens going from middle to high school! They are very wise and it was even more fun over pizza and soda floats!
Next up...our Nov 8th day trip to Fort Worth, TX, for the HBCU College Expo!
Note: We've had 8 Reach Forward Foundation graduates attend HBCU's over our 8 years of existence, 6 in the past 4 years as a direct result of our attendance at the College Expo listed above where Juniors and Seniors get college acceptances and scholarship offers on the spot!

Reach Forward mourns the loss of one of our original moms and one of the most dedicated volunteers we've ever had. LaJuanna worked Thunder Concessions with us this season and during the 23-24 Thunder Season, she volunteered for every Thunder Concession night we took except for one when she was ill and one when her son was in the hospital. We will greatly miss your dedication and big smile LaJuanna Joseph aka Serenity Devine .
