Today we celebrate the paralegals who keep the wheels of justice turning — the researchers, the organizers, the deadline-hitters, and the quiet problem-solvers behind every successful case. Your attention to detail, tireless work ethic, and ability to juggle a hundred things at once don't go unnoticed. Thank you for everything you do, day in and day out. You're the backbone of this profession!

This past weekend, COALA representatives Makenzie, Marlena, Kelly, and Kerry had the opportunity to attend the NALA Conference in Denver, Colorado — and it was a fantastic weekend of learning, connection, and community!

The group kicked things off with the opening sessions, followed by the Affiliate Showcase on the first evening. The Route 66 themed books were a huge hit at the showcase — they sold out! All of the Oklahoma attendees (mostly from the OKC area) also gathered for a group photo! Later in the trip, the group took in a Rockies vs. Reds game, and capped off one evening with a walk past the historic 10th Circuit Courthouse on the way back to the hotel.

COALA is grateful for the opportunity to network, learn, and represent Oklahoma at this year's NALA Conference, and we look forward to next year!

To say that we are honored to receive the Friends of the Young Lawyers Division award would be an understatement!

Thank you to the Oklahoma County Bar Association and the Young Lawyers Division for this recognition, and for everything you do to support the legal community here in OKC. This means a lot to all of us at COALA, and we're grateful for the partnership we have.

Here's to many more years od collaboration and community!

A huge THANK YOU to Allison Garrett of Spencer Fane for an outstanding lecture on corporate governance! Allison brought sharp insight, real-world examples, and had the room laughing along the way — a truly engaging and entertaining CLE!
