Skyline CEO Katy Leffel had the opportunity to join Francis Tuttle Technology Center teacher Lauren Van Osdol at the Oklahoma Summit Conference for Health Science Education to share how CareerTech educators can incorporate meaningful service into their classrooms.

Lauren brings her students to Skyline throughout the year to serve alongside our team and experience our mission firsthand. We’re so grateful for her continued partnership and for the opportunity to connect with educators from across Oklahoma. Together, we’re showing how service can take learning beyond the classroom.

Travis is Skyline's Garden Program Manager, where he coordinates volunteers, oversees the community garden, and leads workshops that help connect people with fresh, locally grown food.

Good things grow through great partnerships. 🌱💙

We were thrilled to welcome our friends from OG&E to Skyline as part of their United Way Campaign kickoff! Their team started the day with breakfast in our garden before touring Skyline and learning more about the programs and services their support helps make possible.

We're especially grateful for OG&E's continued investment in our mission, from sponsoring our event to recently awarding Skyline a generous $10,000 grant for our Garden Program! This support will help us continue growing fresh produce for our neighbors and cultivating a space that brings food, education, and community together.

Generosity comes in many forms, and Crown Heights United Methodist Church showed up for our neighbors in a big way! 💙

Their generous donation included an incredible 796 pounds of peanut butter, along with men's clothing and adult diapers, which are all essential items that help Skyline meet a variety of needs across our programs.

From helping stock the shelves of our Food Resource Center to providing clothing and personal care essentials, every part of this donation will help us care for our neighbors with dignity and compassion. Thank you, Crown Heights UMC, for continuing to show what it looks like when a community comes together to care for one another!
