American Cancer Society-OKC-Cattle Baron's Ball This year’s Cattle Baron’s Ball will help fund the Chad Richison Hope Lodge OK.

Since the gala’s inception, our dedicated volunteer committee has raised more than $1.6 million to support Oklahoma’s fight against cancer. How does the American Cancer Society put these donor dollars to work in Oklahoma City?
• Our Road to Recovery program provides free rides to and from life-saving treatment.
• We are the largest funder of cancer research besides the U.S. Government and have funded 47 Nobel Prize laureates for their life-saving research.
• Our 24/7 support line, 1-800-227-2345, connects patients with patient navigators to help answer questions and locate resources to make their cancer journey easier. Hope Lodge provides free lodging for cancer patients and their families traveling for treatment.

MEET OUR 2026 BARONS!

Our Barons are a very special part of Cattle Baron’s Ball. Each Baron makes an incredible commitment to raise $10,000 or more in support of our mission, rallying their friends, families and communities to join them in the fight against cancer.

Over the next few days, we’re excited to introduce you to the people who have stepped up to take on that challenge and, even more importantly, share WHY they do it. 💛

First up, meet Savannah Owen!

Savannah is the Manager of Communications and Executive Services at Dolese Brothers Company and, for the THIRD year, she has answered the call to serve as a Cattle Baron.

Three years of showing up. Three years of rallying others around this mission. Three years of making a difference for people facing cancer.

Hear from Savannah about what keeps her coming back to this mission year after year and why Cattle Baron’s Ball continues to hold a special place in her heart. 💛

Savannah, thank you for once again putting on your Baron hat and helping us make an impact. We are so grateful to have you back for year three! 🤠
