Mother Huggers is a membership based, not for profit (501c3). We are an organization creating social entrepreneurs by support and involvement of women empowerment & child enrichment projects worldwide. We are entrepreneurs of social justice, leaders of love, hellians for hope! We believe all women and children, regardless or race, religion or financial status deserve to be loved, supported, educat
ed and equally cherished and uplifted. Becoming a member of Mother Huggers means you are donating at least ONE dollar a day for ONE year. C'mon, it's a mother huggin' dollar! So whether you choose to give $7.00 per week or $30 per month, you are changing the lives of the poor every.single.day. Not only are you giving back financially, you are joining a group of women who realize their immeasurable privilege on this earth and have just as large of a desire to serve and be a part of something bigger than themselves. WE are a community of women that will support each other, travel together to the organizations we are serving (both locally and internationally), volunteer together, and make fun of ourselves and LAUGH together while doing it. There will be parties and trips and hysterical stories and maybe some tears along the way. We are NOT asking you to change YOUR lifestyle, we are asking you to change someone else's. And $7.00 per week can do that. We are not trying to reinvent the wheel and repeat what other non-profits have mastered. We are gathering an army of social justice warriors to provide the oil for these well run machines. We want to expose and support the amazing work they are doing to change lives globally. So why not just give money directly to the organizations you are serving? Mother Huggers would never discourage anyone from giving additional funds to the organizations we are serving! You are joining Mother Huggers to be a part of a movement, to give back to organizations that have been researched, well thought out and directly match our mission for women empowerment and child enrichment. We want to create an environment for on-going involvement in projects worldwide. Mother Huggers will provide opportunities for volunteer, travel and education that you wouldn't have discovered (or had the time to find) on your own! We want the energy of a collective movement of social entrepreneurs. Women that believe that serving humanity is best done in community. One project at a time, one member at a time! Advocacy always, passivity into action!
