A 501C3 NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION WORKING TO END VETERAN SUICIDE AND ENSURE OUR NATION'S HEROES AND THEIR FAMILIES GET THE MENTAL, PHYSICAL, AND WELLNESS SUPPORT THEY NEED. Warriors for Freedom Foundation hosts events to help servicemembers, veterans and their families reconnect with their community and provide peer to peer support and comradery. In doing this, we are reducing the risk of divorce,

substance abuse, suicide and exclusion. Our mission is to provide a platform for these heroes to find the resources they need to be successful in life following their service.

Sometimes what matters most is simply reminding someone that they’re not alone and that somebody cares enough to check in.

At Warriors For Freedom, our R22 Buddy Check is about turning awareness into action and strengthening the connections within our veteran community.

Today, we want to take a moment to recognize someone who has shown incredible dedication to Warriors For Freedom and, more importantly, to the mission we serve.

Jacob has consistently demonstrated what it means to step up, work hard, and put the mission first. Whether he’s helping behind the scenes, supporting our retail operations, solving problems, or simply doing whatever needs to be done that day, Jacob has become an important part of our team.

We’re proud to announce that Jacob has recently moved into a full-time role as our Retail & Operations Coordinator!

As a United States Marine Corps combat veteran, Jacob understands firsthand the community we serve. But what makes him special to our organization goes beyond his military service or professional experience—it’s his willingness to show up, take ownership, support his teammates, and genuinely care about the success of this mission.

Purposeful Thrift and Warriors For Freedom continue to grow, and that growth requires great people who believe in what we're building. Jacob has proven time and again that he is one of those people.

Jacob, thank you for your hard work, your loyalty, your leadership, and your dedication to our veterans and this organization.

It’s RED Friday. 🇺🇸

Today we wear RED for one reason: Remember Everyone Deployed.

While we go about our day, thousands of American service members are serving far from home, missing birthdays, anniversaries, family dinners, and the everyday moments we sometimes take for granted.

Wearing red may seem like a small gesture, but the message behind it matters: We see you. We remember you. We appreciate your sacrifice.

Need help navigating your VA disability claim?

Warriors For Freedom is proud to host our next VSO Claims Assistance Day on August 28th in partnership with American Legion Post 1000 OKC.

Certified Veteran Service Officer Jeaneth Helton will be available to provide FREE one-on-one assistance with:

• New VA disability claims
• Denials and appeals
• General claims guidance
• Questions about the VA claims process

Appointments are approximately 30 minutes and are limited to only 5 veterans, so please register early to reserve your spot.

The COOP 66 Cruise-In is coming up, and we need YOUR ride in the lineup!

We’re looking for classic and vintage cars, pre-1996, to join us Saturday, September 26 from 1–6 PM at the COOP Ale Works Taproom.

This is more than a car show—it’s an opportunity to bring the community together while supporting the mission of Warriors For Freedom and the veterans we serve.

If you’ve got a classic sitting in the garage, this is your excuse to get it cleaned up, bring it out, and show it off! And if you know someone with a great car, tag them or send this post their way.

What an incredible Warrior Breakfast! 🇺🇸

This weekend marked something special for Warriors For Freedom — our largest Warrior Breakfast turnout ever!

We welcomed veterans from across the surrounding communities, along with veterans connected to several different organizations, all gathering under one roof for one simple reason: connection.

There was no agenda needed. Just breakfast, conversation, networking, laughter, shared experiences, and veterans getting to know other veterans in their community.

This is exactly what we want our Warrior Community to be.

Different branches. Different generations. Different organizations. Different experiences. One community.

Seeing new faces walk through our doors and watching connections form reminds us why creating these spaces matters so much. No organization can serve the veteran community alone, but when we come together, our collective impact becomes so much greater.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this our biggest breakfast yet. Our doors are open, our community is growing, and we're just getting started.

We believe every veteran has a story to tell, and sometimes words aren't the only way to tell it.

That's why we're so grateful for our partnership with SPARK Creative Lab! Their creativity, passion, and commitment to our veteran community provide a space where our warriors can slow down, express themselves, and discover new ways to connect through art.

Whether it's putting paint on a canvas for the first time or creating something deeply personal, these workshops remind us that creativity has the power to heal, inspire, and bring people together.

A heartfelt thank you to the entire SPARK! team for investing in our veterans and helping them tell their stories one brushstroke at a time. We are incredibly fortunate to have partners who believe in our mission and continue finding meaningful ways to serve those who served.

Every Friday, we wear RED to Remember Everyone Deployed.

It's a simple tradition with a powerful meaning. While many of us are looking forward to the weekend, there are brave men and women serving around the world who continue to stand the watch, often far from home and the people they love.

Today, take a moment to honor their sacrifice. Wear RED, thank a service member, check in on a veteran, or simply pause to remember those who are currently deployed.

At Warriors For Freedom, we believe that service doesn't end when the uniform comes off, and neither should our support for those who continue to serve.
