🚧🌳 HEADS UP JP NEIGHBORS! 🌳🚧

The NW 23rd Streetscape Project is set to begin around January 12, 2026, impacting the corridor from Western to Broadway.

More than a decade in the making, the project aims to improve safety, walkability, accessibility, and the overall experience along NW 23rd.

Construction is expected to last approximately 18 months and may cause temporary disruption, particularly for small businesses along the corridor.

The project is being coordinated by the City of OKC, ODOT, and Rudy Construction Co., with official updates, timelines, maps, and construction notices available at vision.okc.gov, where residents can also sign up for email updates.

As construction moves forward, community members are encouraged to continue supporting the restaurants, bars, shops, and service businesses that are vital to the neighborhood.

Prepping the course near Sparrow Park for the !

The birds sure like the temporary pond in the street, but I don't think the runners will. I'm testing out my portable pump setup to make sure this low spot in the road is clear for the runners on Sunday.
