AIM Indian Territory Oklahoma is aware of multiple reports regarding a teacher and coach accused of inappropriate, racist, sexist, and predatory behavior toward students.

An anonymous student recently came forward describing repeated incidents of discriminatory comments, body shaming, and harmful rhetoric directed at young people in a classroom setting. These statements include racism toward Indigenous, Black, and Muslim communities, as well as degrading remarks toward female students.

In addition to those reports, we want to acknowledge that there are allegations of sexual assault involving a former 8th grade student. We understand how deeply painful and difficult it is for survivors and families to come forward — especially when they feel unheard, dismissed, or even threatened instead of protected. No child should ever experience harm at the hands of someone entrusted with their education and safety.
We have been informed that concerns were previously reported to the appropriate school board and local law enforcement.

The fact that this individual continued working around students despite these allegations raises serious questions that deserve transparency and accountability.
Our priority is, and always will be, the safety of our children. We stand with survivors. We stand with the students who have found the courage to speak up. And we call for a thorough, independent investigation into these reports to ensure that no more students are placed at risk.
Silence protects predators. Community protects children.

If additional students or families have been affected, we encourage you to seek support and report through the appropriate legal channels.

You are not alone.

Bullying in our schools is not something we can ignore, minimize, or push aside. It is happening — in classrooms, in hallways, and online. Children are being told to harm themselves. Children are being pushed to the point of sending goodbye messages. This is not “kids being kids.” This is dangerous, and it is unacceptable.

As parents, we must talk to our children daily. We must teach them empathy, accountability, and the real consequences of bullying. But schools also carry a responsibility. When names are provided, when concerns are raised, when clear patterns of harassment are brought forward — action must follow.

Our children, especially our Native children, will not be targets. They deserve safety, dignity, and protection. From what we are seeing, this is not only impacting Native students — it is affecting students across the district. Regardless of whether these students come from influential or wealthy families, accountability must be the same.

No status, no family name, and no social circle should shield a child from consequences when harm is being done.

When a child feels that taking their own life is the only escape from bullying, the system has already failed them. The Cushing community has already experienced the devastating loss of a child connected to this type of behavior. When is enough enough?

AIM Indian Territory is calling on Cushing Public Schools to hold students accountable, enforce policies, and actively protect those being targeted. Silence is not an option. Inaction is not acceptable.
If meaningful action is not taken, AIM Indian Territory will be present and will stand with families to ensure our children are heard and protected.

No child should ever carry this level of pain because of bullying. Not here. Not anywhere.

We will not stay silent.

AIM Indian Territory Oklahoma is coming together to raise funds for one of our members and their family as they grieve the loss of a deeply important part of their family. In moments like these, words often fall short, but community support can help carry the weight of grief. Our teachings remind us that we are not meant to walk through loss alone, and it is our responsibility to show up for one another in times of sorrow.

The funds raised will help provide meals and assist with other immediate needs, allowing the family the space and time to mourn, remember, and heal without the added burden of daily responsibilities. This is one small way we can offer comfort, love, and practical support during an incredibly difficult time.

We ask our community to hold this family in your thoughts and prayers, and if you are able, to contribute or share this fundraiser. Every act of kindness—whether a donation, a share, or a message of support—helps remind the family that they are surrounded by care, strength, and community during this time. 🤍

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Statement in Support of the Citizens of Minneapolis & in Denunciation of ICE

We stand in solidarity with the people of Minneapolis — neighbors, families, immigrants, and advocates who are grieving, demanding justice, and courageously exercising their rights in the wake of tragedy. On January 7, 2026, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent fatally shot Renée Nicole Good, a 37-year-old U.S. citizen, during a federal enforcement operation in South Minneapolis.

This loss has sparked deep sadness, anger, and protest nationwide. Thousands have taken to the streets to call for accountability, transparency, and an end to practices that endanger communities rather than protect them. Local leaders have condemned ICE’s presence and use of force, rejecting federal narratives that justify this killing and emphasizing that this operation has generated fear, chaos, and distrust in neighborhoods that deserve safety and dignity.

We honor the pain of Minneapolis residents and all those demanding truth and justice. We echo calls for full, transparent investigations that include local oversight, accountability for actions that result in civilian deaths, and policies that respect human life and civil liberties.

Furthermore, we denounce the role of ICE as currently structured — an agency whose actions in this instance have directly harmed citizens and eroded community trust. The use of militarized presence and deadly force in neighborhoods should never be the answer to calls for justice, safety, or humane immigration policy.

Minneapolis and communities nationwide deserve:

Justice for Renée Nicole Good and acknowledgment of her humanity;

An end to federal operations that escalate violence and fear in local communities;

Respect for the rights and dignity of all civilians regardless of immigration status; and

Policies that prioritize life, safety, and community well-being over aggressive enforcement and escalation.

We stand with the citizens of Minneapolis in their grief and their courage — and we refuse to accept a system that sacrifices human life in the name of enforcement.
