Cindy knew she wanted to go back to school. She just didn’t know where to begin.
After learning about Catholic Charities, she connected with Lydia, a case manager with our HOPE Program in Lawton. Together, they began tackling the roadblocks that had once felt impossible.
They tracked down transcripts and immunization records Cindy thought were lost. Lydia helped her navigate assistance that would allow her to work fewer hours while attending nursing school. And when another obstacle appeared, they worked through that one, too.
Then came graduation. 🎓
Now, Cindy has received authorization to take the NCLEX, the next step toward becoming a registered nurse—and toward the career she worked so hard to reach.
